Art teacher Mrs. Snyder was inspired when she discovered the "Be a Light" challenge. Using lyrics from the song by Thomas Rhett, Mrs. Snyder focused on kindness with her students throughout the month of December.

Students listened to the song and listened to books about kindness. They then created their own versions of what kindness means to them and included that in their artwork during Mrs. Snyder's class. 

Students were also encouraged to observe and recognize acts of kindness, writing them down on papers which became links in a kindness chain!
