Brockport CSD recently selected Randall Yu as the next principal for Ginther Elementary School. The Board of Education appointed Yu during the April 26, 2022, Board meeting effective July 1. Yu will be replacing Principal Debra Waye who is retiring at the end of June.

Brockport Central School District has started the process for registration of age-appropriate children to attend kindergarten and Universal Pre-Kindergarten for the 2022-23 school year.

Brockport teacher Silvia Wharram was recently presented with the Golden Apple Award by News 8! Silvia teaches first grade at Ginther Elementary School and has been with BCSD since 2013.

Art teacher Mrs. Snyder was inspired when she discovered the "Be a Light" challenge. Using lyrics from the song by Thomas Rhett, Mrs. Snyder focused on kindness with her students throughout the month of December.
