The Brockport Central School District offers a Volunteer Program for interested community members to assist in classrooms with teachers and their students on various activities and projects. Volunteers are needed on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis or even for occasional class projects. The Human Resources Office, in conjunction with building administrators, coordinates the Volunteer Program. Teachers will inform building administrators of their volunteer needs at the beginning of the school year and that information will be used to place volunteers throughout the school year.

The Brockport Central School District welcomes and encourages volunteers to work in our schools. Many volunteers are needed.  If you have time in the morning or afternoon, or even an hour of time, it would be greatly appreciated.

If you are interested in volunteering in the schools, a form must be completed and submitted for approval. For new volunteers, a Volunteer Application must be filled out and returned with references identified. The Human Resources Office will then contact each reference for information regarding the applicant’s suitability to serve as a volunteer in a school setting. All new volunteers need to be approved by the District and the Board of Education before they can serve as a volunteer. Current volunteers who have provided service throughout the year do not need to submit an application each year. Instead, please complete the Volunteer Update form annually. New applications are only required when a volunteer has an interruption in his/her service to the District.

If you would like to volunteer, please complete the appropriate volunteer form on Frontline.
